Nokia Launches Asha 300 Touch and 200 Dual SIM Phone in India, at Affordable Price

In an attempt to capture the dual SIM phone market in India, Nokia has launched the awaited Asha 200 and Asha 300 Touch phones in India (at an affordable price).
Nokia 200 is a 2.4’’ TFT display phone with 2 megapixel camera and one can (hot) swap SIMs without turning off the phone – change second SIM to a third, fourth or fifth card.
The price of Nokai Asha 200 in India is Rs. 4759, making it an attractive alternative to some of the homegrown mobiles.

Nokia Asha 300 Touch runs on S40 (edition 9.2) and has 1GHz processor and key specifications of the phone are:
  • 140 MB internal
  • MicroSD memory card slot, hot swappable, up to 32 GB
  • Screen size: 2.4”
  • Resistive touch display
  • Proximity sensor
  • Nokia Messaging Service
  • 5 megapixel full focus (EDOF) camera
The price of Nokia Asha 300 in India is Rs. 7,409, but we recommend you to test drive the device without buying (runs on S40).
Given that a lot of Micromax/Lava users are now done with the initial hype of ‘cheap DUAL SIM phone’ and are probably looking for a new device, Nokia Asha does stands hope.
